to make people see (as borrowed from conversation with mimi) was uncomfortable. i let the work play out over time, and sat in utter silence. that was tough — i couldn’t get if the work was landing.
and then it ended. and i had subsequent conversations.
and i knew it worked.
i’m excited about this direction. i’m excited about this kind of work. i feel fulfilled.
and i got to share it with friends who showed up. that’s important — that’s what this community rests on — the reality of friends, colleagues, and the community to show up; to show that you belong; to receive the work — and to understand that you're not making into the void.
