The original enquiry was to explore the rotation of a paintbrush, when put and dragged across a surface. Eventually, the generated outcomes resembled 'streaks' of paint as seen in the paintings of Jackson Pollock.
Each brush stroke begins at a random point in space with a randomly assigned colour from a pre-defined palette. The strokes have certain 'properties' such as movement & rotation speeds, stroke widths, destination locations and starting angles. As the strokes move forward in time, incremental transformations on their properties result in long, varying strokes that ultimately form the piece.
