inspired by annie dillard's eloquent words, i sought a way to keep track of how i spend my life. there were six distinct buckets that i wanted to spend my time in:
the objective was to achieve a balance every day, and put time into each one of them. the amount of time didn't matter — (a) because some buckets (such as working out) required lesser time than others (my full-time job), and (b) the amount of time i spent in a bucket might vary because of the situation at-hand.
i first did this activity on a paper stuck to my front-door, and later converted that into a visualisation using matter.js:
