i spent about 2 nights trying to figure out custom-sorting in obsidian & quartz (the generator i use to serve this blog). it is such a pain. there are so many components that the creator(s) built, that are so difficult to edit. there are so many dependencies.
this is why i hate working with complex things that other people have built — you get caught in their webs trying to do simple things.
and this is why my primary place on the internet — my website — will always remain bootstrapped, with vanilla technologies (such as html, css and very little javascript).
