why:

while working with shobhan in 2025, attempting to simulate ink blotting on paper, we reached the limits of cpu-computing.

i’ve always looked at shaders, engaged with them briefly, but never managed to put in the practice. this class is my commitment to do so, and engage with the hot mess that writing shaders can be.
