i’m at peace with how the second semester went (although i am currently in the thick of it).
i learnt so much; became so much better; explored to the breadths of my curiosity. was exhausted; but loved every second of it — this is what i came here to do.
the best thing that the second semester gave me was the ability to pick something up and figure-it-the-fuck-out. i did weird circuits, taught myself the serge; managed a 7-ft-tall installation; experimented with molecular-biology with a molecular-biologist; heard many ideas and hypothesized quickly how they must work.
i grew close to the cohort. i’m so thankful for the lovely people who nod in the hallways (making others feel seen); deal with my excitement; make weird faces; stare; hug; make me laugh; send me texts; respond to the things i make with excitement; entertain; eat food with me; understand; accept. god i love this place.
somehow the people page became a thing? it started with noah dorazio, and then later nasif said it is interesting to have the option of looking into someone’s mind.
