jesse simpson helped me see that i don’t do well with unmotivated students (or those with different motivations). i need to meet them where they are, and push them to appropriate distances.
i need to be more vigilant (or aware) of how a student is progressing, and not hold high (personal) aspirations. ==they need to make a journey, and it may not necessarily be the one that i want them to make.==
