was generally frustrated about people using components without being interested enough to know more about them. shloka later helped me see that this class is mandatory for everyone, and some might just not be interested in knowing about this stuff.
i know that james is. william a little bit. perhaps more people that i just haven’t found yet. and perhaps it’s not important to know what’s going on, as long as you can make things work.
i’m curious — but that’s not the only way.
tom told me to draw a diagram for each circuit i make that doesn’t work. he also explained the motor-driver:
we also shared ideas for midterms, but it wasn’t a fruitful discussion for me. it’d have been lovely to hear people talk about their ideas with more passion, and more rigour, but i understand that everyone has different priorities (and different energy / curiosity levels that they wish to operate with).
