geoffrey-litt gave a talk on dynamic documents at recurse center.


he speaks about a new kind of paradigm; something i’ve seen before in a stanford-talk; of using a dynamic-document in lieu of ‘apps’. he currently works at notion, and they’re trying to implement a similar thing there.

he spoke about digging himself a big rabbit hole at rc, and then following it by talking to similar-minded people (which led him to his ph.d. at mit).

i think the abstract idea of a new way to interact with the computer was interesting. it is, in some ways, akin to where i am heading for thesis.

i think it’s just to have an inkling, and to follow it courageously.
