i recently watched my videos from july 2022 & august 2022.
it’s just been 4 years.
4 years ago,
this month:
i moved to bombay from bangalore.
i was fresh out of college.
i started my first job.
i was computationally sketching, not knowing where it’d take me.
4 years later,
this month:
i am in new-york, on the opposite side of the world.
i am a graduate-student at one of the best programs in the world.
i am on a near-full scholarship.
i work with people i watched on youtube.
i have different friends.
i live in a different environment.
i feel differently.
i did pretty alright. 4 years is what one spends in an undergraduate degree. from 2018-2022; and now from 2022-2026, i did alright.
here’s to the next 4. 2030 — i wonder where i’d be.
